Step 1: Press the nozzle on the base and set it to high speed/heat. Keep it approximately 6 inches away and move your hair continuously until it's about 80 percent dry.
Step 2: Bring the barrel behind a slightly moist portion of hair so the ends auto wrap. Guide the tool at your roots, hold for 15 seconds, hold the Cool Shot button for 5 seconds, and release.
Step 3: Use this barrel on the opposite side of your head to ensure the curls are away from your face. Hold a damp section near the barrel, let the airflow wrap it, hold for 15 seconds, lock it with the Cool Shot, and slide the tool down.
Step 4: Set to medium high heat. Place the brush at your roots under a section of hair, then slowly pull down to dry, detangle, and smooth out frizz.
Step 5: Place the brush under a section of damp hair at the roots for a few seconds to generate lift. Brush down the lengths, rotating your wrist at the ends to shape properly, then hit the Cool Shot to set the bounce.
Step 6: Ensure your hair is totally dry. Select your temperature, clamp a thin section of hair near the roots, and slide the iron down to the tips at a steady pace.
